As you probably saw in my Planning Our Masterpiece post, we decided to add on a master suite to the existing house. Before tearing out most of the first floor, the master bedroom and the guest bedroom shared a bathroom. The master also had a very tiny closet. We decided to somewhat mirror the garage that is located on the left side of the house to make everything look symmetrical. Once footings were poured and framing started, our new bedroom started to take shape.

I made sure to add double windows to the front of the master bedroom and the back so I could look out over the horse pastures. The countdown is now on to when I’ll be able to wake up and see my boys out there!
