On the front of our property, there is a massive 40ft x 140ft metal building. The building has concrete flooring, two large roll-up doors, and a main front door. Regardless of what my husband may think, (sorry, honey) this building eventually needs a facelift. I would love to add some fake barn doors and a window above. I also like the cupolas on the roof of the example picture (top: example, bottom left: our building and bottom right: inside).

There have been many conversations as to what this building should be used for.

Rusty’s idea: workshop and toy storage (boat, side x side, four wheeler, etc. We don’t even have the last two… yet. I’m sure they’re coming)

Our family’s idea: banquet space for family get togethers a.k.a. they want us to start hosting more gatherings.

My idea: Half of Rusty’s idea and half of the family’s idea but add a prep kitchen and bar.

My favorite so far, my brother’s idea (along with my help): While in Florida this year for my cousin’s wedding, my brother and I found ourselves at the bar drinking some local craft beers. My brother brews, in my opinion, the best beer! He actually brewed four beers for our wedding, totaling 20 gallons, and it was gone in no time! He has always wanted to start his own brewery. For the longest time he thought he would want it downtown. After seeing the farm, he had a new idea and we decided to sketch out our  business plan, very professionally, on a bar napkin. This brilliant plan included a hop garden, petting zoo, beer garden, tap room and of course, the brewery.
