So, as you might have read in my previous post, Our “Fixer Upper”, I was an event planner for our local Chamber of Commerce for about four years. Events have always been my thing. When my husband told me that we would start demo on a Saturday, of course I started thinking, “We must celebrate!” Immediately I started planning a Demo Day party.
We decided to invite family, close friends, and our new neighbors for breakfast and a little stress relief. I can’t tell you how much fun we all had kicking walls and using sledge hammers.
You might recall in my About Me post that part of my acceptance of buying this property included buying cute safety and business gear. Of course we had to rock our Woolard Construction hats and hard hats at the party.
With the help of our friends, family, and maybe a few workers, we started seeing a huge change in our fixer upper over the next few days. Here are a few before/after pictures from demo weekend:
Now that we know exactly what we’re working with, it’s time to start putting a plan together.
